Lahore, Pakistan - Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Learning at the University of the Punjab, Lahore, recently represented Pakistan in the Two-Day International Symposium on Abdur Rehman Peshawri, held at Istanbul University, Turkey. The symposium commemorated the 100th death anniversary of Ghazi Abdur Rehman Peshawri, a revered hero of both Turkey and Pakistan. During the symposium, Prof. Dr. Kamran presented a thought-provoking research article titled "Transcending Borders: Abdur Rehman Peshawri: A Symbol of Unity, Brotherhood, and Resistance." His participation was a significant highlight of the event, and his contributions as a member of the Scientific Committee and the Organization Committee were instrumental in making the symposium a great success. Prof. Dr. Kamran also chaired a session and shared his heart-touching poetry on Pak-Turkey friendship, showcasing his commitment to fostering cultural ties between the two nations. His positive cooperation and dedication were essential to the symposium's success. The symposium was organized by the Department of Urdu Language and Literature, Faculty of Letters, Istanbul University, Turkey, in collaboration with the Yunus Emre Institute Pakistan and the Educational Counselorship of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Islamabad, Pakistan.
